Despite a prolonged school closure mandated by the state government due to extreme heat, we were finally able to send off last year’s graduating class. We have finally installed the entrance gate that we had been thinking about for a long time as it was necessary for crime prevention. Just after the new school term started, strong winds blew away the water tank on the roof. The roof and fixtures of the staircase exit shed were also blown away and damaged. School law in India requires a concrete fence around the school building. We have to raise money again from a small budget.
