November 14 is Children’s Day in India. At our school, we celebrated with fried bread called “pulley” made only with whole wheat flour and water, and vegetable curry. This menu is a special menu that is served at festivals and events, and the children were delighted.20241114

With the second term exams over, the teachers made casual visits to the homes of students in the neighbouring villages. At the request of the state government, it became mandatory for students to be officially affiliated with the school. Parents were also confused, and the number of students temporarily dropped to around 85. As it is a poor area, some families were unable to pay tuition fees. However, the diverse and high-quality education standard at our school is well known to everyone, so we explained to them that excellent students would be exempt from tuition fees. Thanks to the teachers’ tireless efforts, more than 120 students will be studying at our school next term.20241028
